The People's Parade: Pots + Pans March for Communities Not Cuts!

Get angry and get LOUD, Winnipeg!

For many, Canada Day is not a day for celebration. We're taking to the streets on July 1st to fight devastating cuts levelled at our communities by the current provincial government.

Our goal? Push the government to reverse all job losses and funding cuts, and increase investment in essential community services like child-care, health care and education.

Will you join us? We'll be so loud that they can't ignore us.

- Meeting point: Mulvey School (more to be announced)
- End point: Wellington Crescent + Guelph Street
- What you'll need: pots, pans or percussion instruments!

Marches will start at several muster points, meeting up as we go to march down Wellington Crescent! Other muster points will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

We're organizing and rallying as guests in Treaty 1, the territories of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota, and Oji-Cree Nations, and homeland of the Metis Nation.
