Suppress the Virus: Social and Economic Supports with Dan Connolly

The Manitoba Government has pushed austerity measures since being elected in 2016. The pandemic has only amplified these cuts and the lack of social and economic support available to Manitobans.

Join CNC and Dana Connolly for a 10 minute run down on what social and economic supports are needed in Manitoba.

Dana Connolly is a proud Anishinaabe women and mother. She is a member of Peguis First Nation and was raised in the inner-city of Winnipeg. Dana is the Associate Executive Director at Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc. She is passionate about social justice issues that affect the Indigenous community. It was her personal experiences growing up in the North End that fostered her desire for supporting and empowering Indigenous people to identify their gifts, achieve their goals and create a sustainable future for the community.
